When a post is headed SPEED TRIPLE  or GRACIE (just examples) you dont somehow go into the post but appear in that persons profile area.

 

Why is that.      

 

Should we never use a members name in the header of a post.

 

  I have just looked at the post .

 

Liberty etc.....       that goes to the persons profile.

 

Hope that all makes sense.     

 

Does that person think they are sending a pm?

I don't think these are forum topics but a link to comments made on an individuals profile.

Sadly the new upgraded software seems dificult to navigate/understand easily which is always a major no no when designing a web site.

It seems people are getting confused with messaging others.

You can hide such posts from showing on your list. But it's a bit long winded and I'll have to do screenshots to show how.. I'll try to do later. For now please try to ignore..

(Briefly.. Go to your "New content" button (Or whatever yours is called) Click "Edit this stream" on the top of the screen.. Tick only "Topics" under content types. Click Save. You may need to retick "Make this my default Stream".)

Yes, I tried to end a PM earlier and managed to broadcast it.   Oops.  Thank you mods for getting rid of.
