I do like all the 'Fred in a shed' angle, hehe. That shed has been the build bay to what... 50 wooden cruisers over the years? 

Alan is just about mad enough to give this a serious go and clever enough to pull it off. A year into the project the governing body changed their mind over the safety cell that the driver sits in leading to a set back and part redesign of the boat. As Alan said, its hard enough putting something like this together once let alone twice!
