  1. Is it only me that think the height gauges could be improved ? I haven't been under the bridges for a couple of years but if I remember correctly the were wrotten and covered in green algae so were hard to read.

Would it be hard to have digital gauges that can be easily read and spotted by a newbie before it's too late.

Or even better, take the ugly bridge down all together !

  2. I checked when I booked and was told the boat has shore power to plug sockets.

I only want the shore power to top up the batteries if we use the heater a lot over Easter and to charge phones etc. I also have my own inverter as well.

I'm sure it will be fine.

  3. Thanks for the replies. You know me Alan, I wouldn't have a boat without shore power !! Not with my history with probmatic heaters and batteries. I thought 16a was the normal size socket. I'll order at 32a to 16a and a double 16a. Thanks

  4. Hi all

We are going on the north side for the first time in a few years. Can someone please confirm if the elec posts have 16a and 32a sockets and hire boats have 16a socket lead as standard if they have 240v ? When we had our syndicate boat we had it all and I want to order some splitters.

    Thanks

  5. Don't take it seriously, I'm not sure if it's a scam or just a joke.

A car forum discussed this yesterday. I put in 3 made up regs and they are had been clocked on the same road at the same time on the same day.

It's gets your car details from the Dvla to make it look genuine. ( which are easily found )

As if the police would give out this information.
