We have also finally succumbed, after 2 years of being sensible. Similar experience to Meantime above, but with no loss of smell or taste.  We are both triple jabbed and I've now been invited for a fourth, so do feel better off than when all this started.  However, it was still unpleasant and I do have a lingering dry throat and a shortage of energy, although I now test clear.  We do have to live with this thing now, but I recommend you avoid if possible!  Best wishes for a solid recovery to all those affected.

Seems a common situation, we got Covid 3 weeks ago (after avoiding for 2 years plus all vaccinations/boosters) whilst I was still recovering from acute bronchitis, was very concerned that additional respiratory infection would be serious complication but current Covid variant much milder impact, apart from the ongoing lethargy which many reporting.

So yes, best avoided but take heart that it does seem quite mild, even for those with existing respiratory conditions 👍

  2. Still not much visibly happening at The Yare, presume Brooms managed to buy it at auction as one of their vehicles inside the fencing.

Rather disappointed that Michael’s green estate car wasn’t included in the auction, won’t be the same without it parked outside.

Maybe  a whip-round to buy similar and park it there?  😉😂
