  1. Hi.

My brother has had a fair bit of work done by broom on his fairline mirage, new toilet and sea cocks fittted, new hot water system, diesel injector sleeves.

They have done all the work when they said they would to a very high standard and to be honest at a pretty good rate.

  2. Although we have decided to keep clanny, I think we will be abstaining from any foreign travel this year, shame as we could have gloated over the universal acceptance of petrol. Shame it is not universally available.

We are glad you are keeping your boat mate and will work on you for the trip

  3. Hi

I know its early but I have just booked my holiday with work for next year and know that some other people have got the same dates but some people might need to book early to get the dates. From th 30th july for 2 weeks

Next year we are looking at heading across to Oostende in Belgium which is about 87 miles from Lowestoft from there we have no plans at this time so maybe if people want to cruise in company they could come up with some ideas, the more the merrier then we can have a sort out like last year.

    cheers Barry and Sharron

  4. We had a great weekend at the WRC (no goose poo  )

Apart from somebody taking his top of during a song it was a perfect weekend and even managed to get a couple of jobs done on the boat.

The bridges did what they said they would which was very good.

Lots of river inspectors :River Police around but they were in good spirits

    cheersbar Barry and Sharron

  5. As far as I know the build quality of the freeman 27 is top notch with very well put together interiors and the perkins engines are over engineered so as long as its been looked after should not give to many problems cheersbar

  6. First things first you are and old git  but your right to be pi...ed off

I think the marina should be taking responsibilty for these accidents by employing a person to controll the movment of the boats alittle better.

But the problem is, you more your boat in a public marina as I did last year and got hit regularly with sometimes quite a bit of cosmetic damage.

I think people have very very little training and are then let go to there own devices and when they crash into thinks some!!!! of them feel no responsibiliy and maybe even a bit of they can afford to fix it as they have a big boat not realising that some of us are just normal working class people with a passion for all things boats whom spend every last penny on there pride and joys.

So I would highly recomend moving your pride and joy to a private more secure marina

    cheersbar Barry
