  1. Hi Polly. If you need names then please put me down for the Spring meet Boatyman AKA Andy. I'll be there on the Sat and Sunday 18th/19th May 2019.

I'll let you know what boat in due course. If you could book me a space as we did last year that will be great.

    Hope all is well ??

Looking forward to seeing you all again.

  5. It normally takes around 40 hours to get to the standard to pass the test. But it is all on ability and how quick you pick up on things.
I some advice I will give you.
Always check your mirrors whatever. And observations. Make sure you observations are good. Mirrors -- obs and judgment are so important. I can always tell you a good structure to work.on if you want. I wish I could take u on a lesson and see how far you have come.

  6. Yep I understand. There are alot of instructors who are not to the standard us examiners expect. You need to be taught to drive not just to learn to pass the test. If I was closer I would teach you as I have said b4. Without cost. Because of all the great blogs and knowledge you have shared on your travels. I would teach you as a thank you. I'm in Hertfordshire.
You need structured lessons and to be taught taking your ability into account. And praise is important too, for confidence and progress.
A robotic instructor is not what you need. As I said, any questions no matter how silly just ask me.
And well done again for passing your theory.

  7. My view is, it's better if you can to pass in a Manuel. If ever you break down or need a hire car or whatever you have a choice of both auto or Manuel. Even though autos are in abundance, u have the option if ever any of the above situations occur. I like you only like autos and i drive an auto too. But there have been times when my partner needed me to move or collect her car which is Manuel or something else has happened, and I've been able to drive it. So Robin, do the test in a Manuel and the go to auto. You will then be able to drive both whenever needed..

  8. Remember Robin. I am a driving examiner so if you have any questions or problems, just ask me anytime. It will be a pleasure to help Mr Norfolk Broads.
Seriously Robin. Friend request me if u want. Anything no matter how silly it might sound, I'll help you.
