Thanks for your replies we are starting in Wroxham so depending on when we get the boat we might have to eat there quite like the Kings Head as well as we have eaten there before.
And the last night has been taken care of as I have booked the New Inn, Horning.

I'm due to come to the broads in the October half term, we have booked a boat and was wondering if there is anything we need to know about the new restrictions and moorings. Also do you have to book pubs in advance or can you still turn up on the day? We have been coming up for many years just wondering what the changes are.

Thank you for all of your advice I think I will give the Yacht station a ring before I leave Acle. I did attempt something similar accouple of years back on Brooklyn Bridge but we were there when there was a tail end of a storm so I deicide to give it a miss.

I'm on holiday on the last week in october and was looking at heading south down to Oulton Broad. I have looked at the tide times and worked out that high tide is about 08:30 - 09:00. I was looking at
Leaving Acle at about 09:00 so just over 2 hours cruising time my main question would there be enough clearance to pass through Great Yarmouth at about 11:00 for a boat with 8ft air draft.

The last broads video I posted on youtube was back in 2007, but I made the decision this holiday to dust off the camera and get some footage. My next question is what software are people using to create online videos that doesn't cost the earth. Also where can I get music that is approved by youtube as most of it will have to be to music as everyone on the boat always decided to talk when I hit record.
