    Warnings have been issued, but not for the reason above, the warnings were issued because of the tone of the discussion had degenerated to a point that was unacceptable. 

    as a reminder, there are additional strictures in speakers corner.

    Youtube Videos Read Here Before Posting

    The moderation team would like to remind people that any youtube videos posted should conform to the terms of service for the forum, particularly the no naming and shaming clause or details of what a crew are doing wrongly.

    We would also like to remind users that although we all love to see drone footage of the broads, that this should comply with the drone regulations and the guidelines given by the Broads Authority and others, links to which can be found here -

    Videos posted that are deemed to have contravened any of the above may be removed without warning as although they are embedded from an outside source the forum is still liable for their content should it contravene any of the myriad regulations that govern this source.

    When recommending a channel it is better to post a link to that channels home page, rather than to a single video, as that simplifies the user options to follow that channel.

    The threads have been moved to the members area while the moderator team and committee investigate the potential implications of some of the comments for the forum, it was thought better to move them than just lock them, once a decision has been arrived at we will announce it. meanwhile we ask for your continued patience while we discuss the matter.

    Summer Meet No Longer Nbn Official Event

    For the meet to go ahead, an organiser has to be someone from the staff, for the liability insurance to be in force, as the organiser has had to take a step back, to look after a sick relative. No suitable member was available to take over, at such short notice. So we had to make the call, that it was no longer an official meet.
