Hi i have been looking at tumblehome home from Martham I would like to know if anyone has any experience on her
-
The choice for us will be tumblerholm as its a Friday do you know if i can be a 1 adult and the child as some boatyards make you have 2 adults
-
Ok i have looked at jayne and tumblerhome and Friday is the preferable start day so we may go with tumblerhome
-
Do any of you suggest a boat for 3 nights on July 24-27 mainly looking at northern broads at as a budget option depending on what one in the family thinks I might be going solo with the child so

Hello you may have seen a couple of posts I thought I would share a backstory to my boating it first started when we hired out a day boat on the river great ouse and then i found out about the captain's blog on youtube I have been looking at most of his vlogs we have now been day boating for 6. We have decided that we want to now have a 3 night break on the norfolk as I have never slept on a river cruiser we have never been boating on the broads. Over my time on here I've been looking at posts about old boatyards and have looked on the boat searcher and have used that to see what kind of boats they used. I would like to say that everybody on here has been really nice and kind so I would like thank you for such a warm welcone

-
It's just to have look around the broads and cruising do walks and nature trails around the northern thanks for helping will definitely be looking jayne

We don't really want a boat to much bigger than 30 foot as if we can it will just be me and my son as one doesn't like the boats we have a budget of £600 for everything included apart from a dinghy. Do you recommend any other companys that we can look at. Late July is the best but it can get expensive we can also do September but It will be more difficult then
-
He his good and has his
own buoyancy aid we are mainly looking at the 24-27 of July as that is the best weekend for us but we don't want anything to big as we may struggle to moor it and we have been looking for a good deal but I think maycraft have the best deal I know is a bit older fit out but things like horizon 35 like southern gem and bounty 37s we think are a bit to big as we don't take up to much room
-
Yes they still haven't put them up for sail so we will see as it's for a first time I'm not to sure what the tides are like

How many weeks are you wanting? Do I take it from your post that there will be just you and the child? How old is he/she? Is your budget just for the boat hire?
Sorry but to advise you, we need a lot more information..
Its just for 3 night and that is including all the bits he will be 12 from July 8th

Hi i have been looking through for a first time holiday on the norfolk broads having done day boats for 6 years we have been look at Mayfair because it's very well priced as we want to go from July to September but finding a boat is hard for high season as we are taking a child. But we usally need 2 adults but one in the family doesn't like boats so I wonder if there is and solo adult hiring available we have a strict budget of £600 btw the child does lots of boating so he can steer Moor up and help with the ropes and help would be nice. Thank you if you read
