  1. Have decided to try a Noco Boost GB70 in the event of a flat battery. Also I have a solar panel which I assumed was only charging the leisure battery.......need to check if its charging the starter batteries.
  2. Start the engine....
  3. That makes sense to me and maybe something I should look at for future. Any tips on jump starting in the meantime?
  4. Correct. isolator for each starter battery and a third for domestic/leisure.
  5. Cleopatra 850. Two 1800 Ford diesels.
  6. Have also noticed that with both isolators switched off I still seem to have power at the ignition keys. Had assumed that with isolators switch off there would be no power at the ignition keys.
  7. I believe I have just have two isolation switches, one for each engine/battery.....boat is very new to me.
  8. Evening All I have a twin diesel boat and one of the batteries may be flat.....shall find out tomorrow. Is there a specific procedure to jump start the flat battery from the good battery?| Many thanks.
  9. Thanks, shall give Sutton Staithe a callin the New Year.
  10. Morning All. Looking for service recommendations for my boat based at Stalham. Twin ford diesels and volvo Stern drives. Also general maintenance of Eberspacher Heater, Jabasco sea toilet and fitting of black tank. Plus maybe addition leisure battery on the solar system. Many thanks John
  11. White not yellow. Have seen the yellow one shown as sold on the waterside marine sales website.
  12. Morning All Soon to be owner of a Cleopatra 850. I appreciate there are not many about but are there any other owners on here?
  13. Budget wise.... anywhere between 10 and 25k as I'm happy to look at a project. 4 Berth min, decent outside space, diesel ideally but not really put off by petrol. Have looked at Freeman/Seamaster style and more modern sporty! cruisers
  14. Although we live in Norfolk, we have never really used the Broads as much as we should, other than a few day boats over the years and a weeks holiday back in the early 80's. Things are about to change. A weeks boys ( OK, we are all in our 50's. 3 of us ) only holiday in September which will consist of meandering on the water, a few glasses of wine, a little fishing possibly and some great meals in some great pubs hopefully. And.... I'm looking to buy a boat, but they are selling so quickly that is proving harder than expected. Looking forward to catching up with all on here with whatever questions may arise.
