  1. Many thanks, I think we'll go for something smaller.
  2. Yes, I think we'll go for something smaller. Many Thanks
  3. Hi Graham, thanks a lot, I'll have a look, to be honest though I think I could be better off with something smaller. I don't want to leave a trail of destruction behind me! Thanks again
  4. Thanks very much Dave, sounds like you had a fantastic trip. I can't wait to get away now.
  5. Thanks very much everyone for all of the great advice, I think at the moment it's a toss up between Rapide and a 35 foot (Eastern Light). I'll let you know how we get on. Thanks again.
  6. Thanks very much, We'll have a read of this later.
  7. Thanks very much Maurice, brilliant advice.
  8. Hi. Many thanks. yes, it's probably worth giving the boat yard a ring. i'm wondering would it be easier to moor a 42 foot with bow thrusters or a 35 foot without?
  9. Many thanks, I think we might be better off on a smaller boat (at least for the first time).
  10. Thanks Howard, yes that could work.
  11. Thanks Jeff, I'll have a look.
  12. Thanks a lot Brundal Navy and Norfolk Nog, the kids are 11 and 13 so maybe they could help (that would be a first though). Thanks again
  13. Many thanks Andrew, {I don't think you're as confused as I am)
  14. Hi Everyone, I'm new to this and hoping for some advice. We're looking to hire a boat for a week in August for 2 kids and 2 adults. We were looking at a 42 foot cruiser with bow thrusters (Rapide) (mainly for the space inside). Does anyone think this could be a bit difficult for novices to manoeuvre? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Geoff
