hi there 22 guage copper sheet will do the job keep anealing the sheet untill you have finished working it then aneal again before the final fit worked on a 1942 tractor engine which is still running yours olddock

Thank you for the welcome great to be on board being an ex hgv driver of 40 years working in europe we always filled up in europe because it was a lot cheaper after many a year cruising the broads which to me is heaven when boatyards gave you respect which now seems to have gone the sad side of the matter is the down fall of certain boat yards sending out craft that are not topped up with fuel,

quite agree this is how it should work but other yards are taking the micky by saying that more fuel has been used, With the decline of the old dipstick because of pollution /health and safety {bull}it now seems the larger yards are not providing full tanks :

if a vote was taken on hire craft should all craft be fitted with fuel gauges to resolve the problem of the amount of fuel at the start of hiring and the top up for the refund to the customer :

with the hike in fuel cost and extra taxes have the people got the right to no if the craft there hiring has actually got full fuel tanks before the embark cruising the broads
