How's this then?

Two of my favourite foods are bolognaise and ratatouille.

I had some left over bolognaise sauce and the ingredients for ratatouille which needed to be used in the very near future.

No problem, I made some ratatouille and encased both the ratatouille and bolognaise in bought flaky pastry and made some lovely pasties.

Coated in beaten egg and cooked at gas mark 5 for 40 minutes and look at the result.

Failing the leftover ingredients just about anything canned mixed with some Mediterranean cooked veggies can be used to make a tasty pasty.
