Hi all, i can remember years ago some hirefleets used to offer outboard engines for hire with their dinghy`s, but you never see them now. I`m sure it`s all to do with security and also safety when refueling etc, but why not consider offering one of the new electric alternatives. They could have a charging lead which could be plugged in when towed behind, and as for security, i`m sure there must be some pretty good security devices around to deter opportunist thieves. Besides, being electric, they could even be stored and locked away on board out of sight. What do you think?. Regards .................. Neil.
