Gordon
I don't think I am, I would dearly love to get over to do some Piking, either on Barton or even at the moorings at Stalham, however the way the diary is working out not sure if we will even get over until the start of February regards Gordon
jillR
hi peeps my kingfisher comes into norwich to fish when the winter comes, presumably because the water here is warmer. i wonder if the pike do the same. jill
Gordon
Jill I am sure they do, I understand the little fish move into the warmer waters especially into the boat yards and hide under the boats. Of course the pike follow their dinner. I have caught some cracking pike in the moorings Talking of kingfishers I feel particularly priveledged to have watched a kingfisher for about 15 minutes working prom a post just 30 feet in front of me, he then moved onto a nearby boat and continued for another 15 mins. That was special :-D Gordon
Guest
maybe if you chop up some fish and stick it in the hop of your hat while sitting on a bench outside and setting up a camcorder. that would be some fun. when i was moored at are yard in late august there was a little bird that came swooping across the bow of curlew and landed on the ring of ower mud weight. Tiny it was no larger than a Robin with a long black tail and i think a white body when moving its tail move very erratically. It was so cool just to stop what your doing and just to sit still for a few mins and be mesmerized (Priceless) :santa:
