Good to hear you had a good cruise out Dave.
We spent a long weekend on board at our new moorings doing a few jobs and enjoying the glorious weather . Fantastic!!
-
Much appreciated Ian.
Can you please let me know when we could get our hands on it?
xx

Hi David
Thanks. That is what I thought would work the best in the short term.
Ian - would be good to borrow, thank you.

Hi John
Its Suzanne. No it is a private mooring and not at St Olave's.
-
Thanks Perry. I think I remember you posting something about this a little while ago. It looks a very handy device.
I am hoping we will have posts or cleats sorted pretty quickly, so would rather not spend £40.
Any other suggestions? !!

Help.....
We should be moving onto our new mooring towards the end of this week
Until we get some posts or cleats put in, we only have hoops which I am not used to
So...... how do I hook a duck, so to speak

Hi Gav
Sorry, we are off elsewhere so won't catch up with you this time.
Roll on Summer...

They look great and like the idea of having the doors open with the canopies on capturing the sun's rays.
-
Glad it went well for you and you probably picked the best day for weather.
-
Mine has not turned up yet so I do not have a clue what anyone is talking about.

Looking at page 16 of MBM I think we all need to support Ian in his need to stop off at the Medway for petrol ...lol

Welcome. Hope you enjoy the site

It was lovely seeing Adam skipping along the pontoon this morning singing "supercallyfragilisic" etc etc he must have thoroughly enjoyed his dvd last night. Anyhoo it looks like the Coldham Hall clan can now rest easy as the master is there with the tickets, but perhaps it wont be looked upon as a " pipe and slippers " any more because the mighty NERAIDA forged a passage through with the help of the WHOOMPERS from Quo Vadis,Blownaway,Laura Jane and NOT LE Grand Chew.!!!! Mark now being the foremost authority on Whoomping was there to watch and learn and also jumped ship before crossing said palms with silver. Hope all manages to get to their destinations this nye and makes the most of it. Are we right in assuming reedham bridge will open new years day?
Hats off to Neraida and the Whoompers
And a massive thank you to Mark
Erm.... I was not the tramp I was already at home by then enjoying a nice hot cup of tea recuperating
Thank you all, we would not be here tonight without all of your help

PS LB will be along shortly.....

OI!!
That,s not fair YOU told me we were using Sea Hunter!!
ooh you buggers
Well come what may...the Sea Hunter Will be breaking the ice tommorrow !!! We are booked in for dinner at Coldham tomorrow evening.
If Le Grand Cru has mysteriously disappeared overnight...you will know why
Stuck here at St Olaves and mrs Bling has insisted we watch Mary Poppins...aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
-
LB is on his way down there now to check the state of play and load some essentials on
-
I haven't managed to speak to him indoors yet as he is preparing my tea although I did drive past this afternoon and I think it looked a little more thawed.
It'll be alright on the night

We cannot make the Reedcutters as planning on Beccles this weekend, Adam has a wedding. So, if anyone is Beccles way, let us know.

Thanks Jill
Just remembered another....
The Wherry Hotel and Castle Carvery - £10 moorings with £5 back on food and free water.
-
Hi JIll
Coldham do not charge £10 if you are eating with them, however the £5 electric is charged.
Ferry House, Surlingham can offer electric at £5.
-
Lovely tale and great pics. Loved all the kids smiling piccies.

We also booked last year. They accommodated over 90 boats last year and they will be rafted together 3 deep all down the pontoon. It is the same each year, probably the highlight of the Southern Broads calendar.
So, book early for 2011!!

Yes we do! When are you planning on heading to OB? We are planning to get the 10:00 Somerleyton Bridge on Firday.
We are having a few days child free first (woo hoo) and will arrive at OB on Saturday. So see you there!
