Go girl... Well done
It was great to spend time with you and Gavin the other night, really enjoyed it.
-
If we abort, I imagine we will end up at Reedham too!!
-
We are booked for 11.15am for Breydon Bridge tomorrow morning. There are six boats booked in...
Our thoughts are that we can do the bit to Lowestoft and then watch from the RNSYC. If it is too rough, will come back in onto the quay Yarmouth.
-
Mark... no on the way, anyone else who wants it let us know. It will be Adam's as mine is company property
-
Sounds just like last year grrr. Sitting around waiting for a window

Thanks Bridgid Mary for suppplying the name in another post.
This place is owned by the same people as the Red Herring at Oulton Broad and is based at Haven Marina on Lake Lothing, between Oulton Broad and Lowestoft. It's a great marina, we used to moor here, although the surroundings are industrial, there is always something to watch.
I think we will try and try this place next week http://www.thethirdcrossing.co.uk/

Would texts be as easy??
-
Don't know the exact position Adam but Oil Platforms and wave buoys normally.
May be worth checking with RNSYC if they have any space too, likely to be very busy
Thanks Ian, we got in last weekend and I have never seen it as busy, every space taken by a large Dutch contingency all 3/4 abreast and also rafted out 3 deep on the end pontoon and the fuel pontoon. So, will give it a go, if all else fails, will go through to Haven and possibly try the new owners of the Go Fish.

Tut Tut, Luke Is that a crotch strap I see tied up around your waist band rather than gently caressing your nuptuals??
Claire clearly listened though
-
If we are all rafted out, are we able to get electricity and water??
-
We use a Pela too, or I should say 'him indoors' does
And swears by it, so to speak

Try this site for HW times http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/EASYTIDE/Ea ... onLength=7
for slack water on the moorings add 1 Hour for bst + 1/2 hour for the moorings.
Jonathan
Thanks for that

Hi guys
Whilst trying to find slack water times for Southwold, where do I find them please??? I came across someone's blog which charts there time through the broads, out through Lowestoft to Southwold and down the suffolk coast. Enjoyable reading.

Congratulations Wayne and Tracey!!
It was good to see you coming back in for the bridge lift on Saturday. See you next week hopefully.
-
As already said ..how romantic.. taking you wife on a cruise for her birthday
Should I be worried..... I am rather well insured
-
Sorry I am afraid that's down to me as we spend the first week of the summer holidays with land lubber friend in Southwold and don't like to go anywhere until we are fully rested. Ian has managed to move his 2 weeks back a week to accommodate us. We will be heading to Holland next year ( if we return from London ) and will try and post dates early.

Unfortunately, that rules us out as Adam has a wedding booking for the Saturday in the middle of the two weeks. If it had been the original dates, one week earlier, we could have made it

Looks fabulous Perry. Pin Mill is a lovely spot.

Excellent!
Is that it . More please

YES...
Every marina we have berthed in, have had at least one residential moorer and in all cases these people are invaluable in terms of help with information, always being there to take your lines when the weather is bad and, of course, the very valuable additional security. We have in the past exchanged mobiles, so that if there is ever anything amiss at weekends, they can contact us.
However, I think one or two in each marina is enough.
