You can stay at RNSYC on your left as you enter the harbour at Lowestoft, lovely marina or on entering the harbour go right into the Hamilton dock marina. Alternatively, go through Bascule bridge at Lowestoft and moor at Haven Marina towards the top of Lake Lothing overnight before going through the lock.
Navigation guidance for Lowestoft and Bascule bridge, including opening times below, as well as info on Mutford Lock.

Mutford lock costs £10
Hope this helps.

Thanks for clearing that up.
It's not a way of paying less, might have known!!

It also means we can now delete posts from people with boats better than ours

Can anybody throw any light on the below statement taken from the BA website??
Private boats which can show they have paid their annual Great Yarmouth Port Authority Harbour dues will receive a discount of 50% on the appropriate Broads Toll, this is available against both the annual Broads toll and Broads short visit toll.

We will be there, probably with friends.
What about a night at RNSYC as well as OB

For me, it has to include Oulton Broad for the bank holiday Monday, what a great day that was this year.

Good luck Mark, hope it is what you are looking for.
We are off to Bracknell tomorrow on a similar venture, then staying in Nottingham with friends tomorrow evening, then Lincoln on Sunday.

Adam was a total star taking all the ribbing in his stride whilst also reveling in the fact that when someone else messes up that he will be there camera in hand. He has also been put forward to host the mystery tour and beach excursion.
Will this be where the Kraken resides Ian??? :

Hi all
Well, we had a great time last night and so good to see everyone again and also to meet the rest of MBird#s family... hello Mrs M and boys.
Also a big thanks to Senator and Mariotech for starting this initiative and we are really looking forward to next season and meeting up with everyone on a regular basis.
Only 20 weeks until Easter

I am following this and fascinating Clive.
Thanks for sharing this.
I hope it will help your PR and marketing in some way too and it already appears to be doing that.....
Great post. Keep going......

We have 4 in total Barry, although it is usually only Lydia who wants to come along with us. We also have Lewis (15), Lil Tom (17) and Big Tom (19), the boys generally have their own weekend activities now. However, a party featuring on facebook has embargoed their right to stay at home :

Great!!!
Are you coming on Saturday Trev?
-
Wow
Adam and I, along with Lydia and Tom are looking forward to seeing you all.

hi all!!!!
In spite of some uncomfortable experiences in the murky north sea....we are up for this too!
It was far more comfortable venturing out with both Mariotech and senator in front and behind us back in the summer.....
We now know that we have a trim tab problem that wasnt helping but nevertheless its so much better going out with a number of other boats!
see you all soon

Hi John
Nice picture of Jupiter Mist! No worries about our berth at Goodchild's, when we got in on Sunday afternoon in the high winds, we were rather relieved to slip into a larger space vacated by Milhan further down.
Sounds like you had a good break.
