I think the main objection is potentially fracking up the ground water and thus the drinking water. Not many worthwhile guarantees have been extracted from the frackers about not fracking up the drinking water.

You know what, I think you're on to something...
No one would suspect him!
Like my father:
Post 9/11 checks onto a flight from Saudi to the UK.
Puts hand luggage on through the scanner
Scanner beeps
Attendant's internal monologue also consists mostly of beeps
(my father forgot he left the traditional curvy knife with the 7" blade he got me as a present in there)
She looks up at my father
He smiles at her
She smiles back and just lets him board with the knife!
It's the mild well mannered ones...

I always find that I have to look up to see motor-only types (MOT). Except maybe day boats can look across to those.
I do get this odd thing from MOTs like they think I'm 'putting on airs' for choosing sails...
I guess SOTs are a bit fanatical so I find myself MOST in the middle

It's very hard work keeping a pub my grandparents did for quite a while. The ability to run the kitchen all day comes with the staff. If the landowner is trying to suck it dry before they can get it going properly then it's a loose-loose and they will never get those extra staff. The thing to do is turn up at the times they can manage and help them out from under.

Yup Salhouse can whip up a vicious wind across the moorings even had the 'anchor' drag there once... Had to chuck another one out to save our souls or at least some varnish...

Hi All,
I've been enjoying holidays on the broads since I was a teenager which seems like yesterday but the calendar says otherwise.
I prefer taking zig zag routes rather than going straight as that way you get to enjoy more of the river

I've been tempted to head south recently too, get away from the crowds a bit...
