  1. Hello please could you send me more detals of your Aston as I am very interested Kind regards John
  2. Yes in 'normal' conditions I would totally agree with you but the last 2 years haven't been normal and everything - Camper Vans / boats / houses / holiday homes / cars / classic cars etc have all been selling at inflated prices (or at least adverstised at inflated rates) due to peopel having unspent money burning a hole in their pockets and the limited availabilty. Those who usually go on expensive cruises and overseas holidays have been channeling thier cash into other pursutes within the UK but I would bet that the over heated market will slow as fast as it rose in the next 24 months and a lot of people will be left high and dry with expensive investments they didn't really want in the first place...................
  3. Always cheaper to buy a fully restored boat than a project I learned that a long time ago. Also the bubble has burst on the last 2 years artificial prices and I think there will be a lot of boats coming to market in 2022 /23 as international travel starts up and people realise the true cost of ownership.
  4. Well maybe I have - the frustration is actually finding a boat that has been looked after in the first place!
  5. I am seeking a Broads cruiser, something like a Bourne 30 or siimilar, a Seamaster 30 or a wooden craft. Must be excellent to immaculate condition, funds available for the right boat, A mooring included would be a bonus.
  6. Looking for a Seamaster 30 would like to find a boat in the very best condition. A few years back I saw an immaculate craft called 'Crystal' and would like to find one as good.
  7. After spending a week on the Broads and traveling 100's of miles looking for a new boat I have returned home empty handed. Having dithered around regarding 'Nipper' I lost the opportunity on that fabulous little boat and wish the new owner the very best of times on her. So I am still looking for a Bourne 30 / 35. Seamaster 30, or a classic wooden cruiser around 30'. I have looked at the idea of a restoration but do to my distance from the broads I feel a complete boat would be a wiser move. I want the very best condition craft I can find. By the way there is a Bourne 35 in Horning, fiber glass hull' needs a lot of work but going for around £15K if anyone is interested. One positive I did find my old Seamaster 813 down in Loddon...........most of the brokers told me that the market hsa taking a sharp slow down since international travel has started again. 4 - 6 birth 30K - 40 K would bo higher for a stunning boat
  8. 30 - 40 K although would go higher for a fabulous boat - 4 - 6 birth
