My Home Town 1937!

Recommended Posts

There was a short insert into my home town of Ayr tonight on the news, with old archive b&w silent film. Before you lot say you never thought I was THAT old, nope twas twelve years later I had the chance to see such places. Interestingly I had forgot that the Irish Steamer came into the harbour every big race meeting!

I watched the film in the hope I may have seen my father in it ! Its only 14 mins long, if you like old films. http://movingimage.nls.uk/film/1321

cheersIain
