brandenjg
Hi everyone I've done every odd job i can on my little boat and im now... Bored. I've padded and leathered my bench's, made 2 fishing rod holders, sorted waterproof storage, rigged a portable speaker system, made a mudweight, bought new oars and made them floatable, bought a trolley, bought an outboard and fully cleaned and painted it and i can't use it till the new toll year starts I do go out rowing but i'm limited on how far i can go, especially this time of year. What im thinking is with the short term toll, can you also get short term insurance. It seems silly to buy my insurance now and have to renew it each year 3 months before getting a new toll. On the plus side as soon as it hits april 4th its my birthday and i'm taking the boat and going camping
Brian
Sounds like you are going to have a great adventure this year on the Broads
brandenjg
Little update, Boat is now tolled and insured with the motor but thanks to the marvelloues weather I've yet to go out on it . I did however go camping last week on the broads. Headed out on the inflatable at river green and after an hour, found the perfect spot. Built the tent and set up the disposible bbq, had a few beers and enjoyed the surroundings. The only issue was the morning was a bit nippy but otherwise all good. Went to morrisons (in norwich) for a full english then wandered home. Just a shame i could'nt do it again today
