Rechargeable speakers

We had been looking for a small, reasonably priced but good sounding portable speaker for use in the garden and on holiday (or on a boat if you cant plug your gadget into the onboard stereo).

Finally bought one and have to say I am quite impressed with it.

I am normally a bit of a techno snob when it comes to this type of thing and had been looking at units 5x the price and 3 times the size - not very handy for travelling with. This unit ticked all the boxes so we chanced it.

The Jam classic HMDX. For £21 I think it is well worth it.

Bluetooth or wired it will connect to your MP3, igadget, Android or anything else with a Bluetooth or a jack socket outlet.

Had it running for over 6hrs at weekend using the jack socket and still seems to have plenty of charge in it. Think my phone would give out before the speaker ran out of juice if I used it on Bluetooth.

Maybe too late for a Christmas present, but maybe on sale in January if your in the market for one.
