650xs Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 we spent an hour or two in the local church at home village or sea palling to pay our respects to a good ole boy the church was packed the media in force the local life boat crewe and coastguard in attendance to send of an old friend then orf to two ole pubs to send off a man who loved the sea and broads .......... hickling grey hound and the reef at palling a star a good ole boy he had his last trip on the life boat with the crewe...... rip " sam " ............................the life boat was in his blood please some one find the report from the edp................. enjoy yer last flonking and raise a glass of adnams sadly missed by his wife and girls ................. As someone who used to windsurf on the North Sea I have always had the greatest respect for the brave men and women who crew the lifeboats knowing that if you need them they WILL come.
