Alternative Browser for ipad

Hi

 

in case anyone like me gets a bit fed up by not being able to use the forum emoji's with Safari on the ipad I have found that the Puffin browser does work. it also plays flash content.

 

just found this out this morning. been having problems with Safari .     since the latest update and wasn'table to get on the forum so tried Puffin.

 

puffin is a paid for app (had it ages & forgot about it so not sure of the current price) 

 

 

just thought I'd let you know in case its of any interst.

Hi David, 

 

I think you can download and use google chrome via the app store.. Although not an apple user/fan so not sure. Safari should work well though as it's not a bad browser.

safari has been fine until the last couple of days when apple updated ....again  apart from the fact you can't use the forum emoji's (although It seems to work with the new software on the test site)

 

just thought I'd share this in case anyone else had an issue
