Don,t ride it past my place , i am considering a cheese wire across our road, nothing personal, but we do have a problem with  over enthusiastic ,middle aged men on bikes speeding past , at weekends ,no objection to anyone having a good ride, but one sports bike can be heard coming for miles and going away, a village is not out in the country.....there are houses there!!

If it were for all 3 I wouldnt say just over £1 for the convenience of a nights electric is expensive!

i said dearer, than the old system, was for 3 boats:wave

Ditto, Charlie, but I use about a couple of pints of pub pipeline cleaner with about 5-10 gallons of water. I pump it all through our 10 taps and leave it for half an hour. Then flush through with lots of fresh water.

This is after winter when the lines and tank have all been drained.

Mary-Jane and I have been doing this on various boats since 1980!

    TEN taps? really lol

  7. We have done one or to night nav.s the main problem was the windscreen , due forming on the out side... the screen is about 8feet by 5 feet in a single span , so wiping that is a pain, wipers only a foot long!! took the canopy off in the end and eyeballed it open top!

the dark wasn,t a problem , it was when we came to somerlaton bridge you just couldn,t determine where you should be!!

  8.  If you were to get todays riders and drivers to ride or drive the machinary of John Surtees  day, not only would they not be able to do it, they would`nt be able to control these very basic machines.

    RIP John.o

don,t know about that really , put john in a current f1 car he would be lost, to the point he would n,t get it moving, a current fi driver drives a high spec road car ,supplied by his team , and they all started with a go kart, basic skills are learnt early but are still the same as driving a 1100 cc road car, push it to it,s limit, finding that limit and keeping it there lap after lap is what makes a great racer , old or new, comparisons are irrelevent imho
