blimmey heady 6 degrees yesterday .....................and snow snow warnings across the north .....................
keep burning the ole fires i say .............................

be quick got another one to do we have a return empty from west country to narfolk
can collect all on route
27 foot long or smaller
from avon to south coast to thames /midaland s back to sunny norfolk
keep the sun shinning !!!!!!
this will happen in next 7/14 days ............
we will be visiting the bristol area at same time for a day or two then back to norfolk via the the route of the south coast via thames etc or midlands
hitch a ride and boat back to norfolk land ............

so cold this week we had a little ole tramp fire for the poor ole boys who work outside to help them warm up ....but no soup, nor bread
just I had a can orf specila breew then on to the ole white lightening for desert ......with ole dawg by me side !!!! spare any change guvvv................................
managed to lift a boat quick while the ice on river was thin just got alittle bit on strop ............
I,m saying it was cold but even saw mr pike and the roach family sneaking out orf ole water to plug in heaters in to my shore power .....!!!!!!

what a pleasant but cold week.............
one bit orf sun then rain then cloud then -4.........
I even had to show some people the snow pic of sat to prove how low and cold our little wayford bubble gets .................
got some boats stuck that can,t get here still and some want to leave and can,t goo...
been busy on boat sale s too which is great news for the boat sale boys too
sold a few and got some more in to sell which is always good .......
works hop full to brim with plastic stuff and polythene too and some woodies of coarse ................
queen is coming along new deck covering all on roof and last lower deck to doo
new rebuild of classic broads woodie has it new roof all on now with fake tee and gee with exposed varnished roof beams look nice weel dunn mr matt
yard in a mess with road half scrapped and water logged too
half coned off to stop silly bugger strying to drive and sink in unflatteend road
ice every whaere
slip way full of boats etc etc
office is too hot outside is too cold
had some loverly shots of sun up and frost on boats too
not too good at the camera thang but yer get the gist
little ole waffis in ther shud is steaming along

hull sanded
hull routed out
and other ebits and bobsd removed

we have offered for yrs to collect winter store all out boards as we do already
and keep in location away from yard in secure place and alarmed etc
as long as we service engine too
wil even have small boats here to got the room might aswell use it
we collect all over
the wms winter special
of coarse one or two have taken it up more recent to to avoid the missing engine later .....!!!!!

i must admit i have broken a few moulds in my time the largest was the med 38/44 took awhile with ole jcb
working under in rtucs form powers that be at the time
only got a set off small speed boat moulds ,and a dinghy or two ..............at the moment

take the old vee 8 out and replace with a pair of twin four strokes ?????? less power but more control and better river control at super low speeds.....

what a great ole week nice too have some positive mental attitude ................not from me ...........
lots off people to come and see stuff
sold a few boats too
had some proper viewings too ,not fender kickers !!!!
sorted one or two probs out with boats too
little yacht is coming along t a great pace with all seams out and top planks lot too we are slowly lifting her saggy ole bum ...up !
she will be stripped too to loo the part with new decks covering and few nice little touches too
1936 polwes next door is all done ready for launch ,hope we don,t get a bad ole frost as its makes me ole slip a sod to drive on
she do shine now well done boys for good job done we like all types from classic to plastic and steel too and will do a little ole plywood boat too yar know
the rudd had a scrap this week thanks to me ole mate .........its bit flatter just need it to drain a bit to do more and slow them ole speeding cars and that is me too
quick whizz to the north to deliv boat to them silly north narrow rivers .....why .......!!! with locks show now i know what one look like and hill with a truck and boat in tow on slippery country roads in minus brrrrrrr temp
so skidding up and dunn hills with n"don,t touch the brakes " as we did watch one transit do a nice skating show for us .........and our score was a good "severn " well dunn ........
did make mistake with a dunn hill bit and had too touch them ole brakes my self opppppss .............that was fun ....
so poor ole truck ,me and my ole co pilot was in shock with them hills and locks too
nice little trip and a quick stop, needs must at a little thief !!!!!...................with some kind off food.......urr ok i suppose for a change ...... then back to narfok land so poor ole truck can run flat on them old flat lands and recover from hill shock

let me tell yer a story ........................................and it about the original post too ....!!!
back in the day ............
up early in a morn after said paper round and quick look to see new girl friends stable to see if she were there for a muck out ........
off to do the new boat job the best boat job in the world..........................."hull cleaner "
at a very well known yard in brunddaall run by a man after me own heart ,,,,,shout alot ,loose the plot and general good all round character ,lots of verbals and arm waving ....what a star
into the team garden shed hull cleaning head quarters ....................
kit out with bucket brush and grit stuff to to dean them ole hull and fender thinggies ,dinghies ,water lines .....decks and any thing the shout man said ..he was the boss and we did what he said ..................
hard work in rain or shine ......................did it kept it up and kept going
we all start some wharr , i did so now i,m here doing it a the other end ...............
only two orf that famous crewe carried the boating flagg on to a career.............me and and another who has the largest engine supplier for the marine world in the uk !!!!!!!!!

so i started at the bottom and bloody well worked hard to get wharf i,m at now ..................stood in a muddy ole boat yard cleaning boats ,only difference is now i use a pressure washer ...!!!!!!!!!!!!
