There may be only room for one Rascal (I'm a wide load) but plenty of space for a scallywag

Welcome to the site,
Now you may find this a hazzard or wish to watch but....
Weather permitting, Horning Sailing Club should be sailing from Horning to Thurne Lion Dyke on Monday 17th April. This is normally starts around Horning Ferry at 10:30 arriving Thurne sometime about 12:00-1300. The return race starting at Thurne Dyke about 14:00. It should be several fleets of boats from dinghies to big sailing cruisers up to a total of 30 boats, starting in half dozen boat fleets at five minute intervals, The best place to moor and watch would be St Benets straight or the church moorings Horning.
Sounds great thanks! If the weather is good it would make a great spectator sport! Better than manoeuvring through them all!

Thanks Griff, I have seen a few of his videos (also staring your good self it would appear). I'm in half a mind to do a bit of a comedy parody to be honest "LondonScallywag" anyone?

Hi Everyone,
I thought I better sign up! I got hooked last year hiring 2 boats in June and September and have 3 booked this year already! Looking forward to Easter Weekend on a budget taking out San Rafael from Richardson's and to meeting some of you out on the water!
Anything fun happening this Easter on the northern broads I should take a look at?

Hey Crooky, I'm a noob and hired my 1st boat last year. I've been twice since and have 1 booked for Easter weekend! I've only explored a fraction of the northern broads as far as I know, and I could go round all those bits again and again. I couldn't recommend exploring the upper reaches of the River Ant enough the settlements around Barton Broad are what hooked me! Irstead and Neatishead are gems! I cannot wait to get back out! Enjoy yourself wherever you end up!
