  1. Hi Arthur,

I've checked on my tablet and pop ups and cookies are allowed, Howard has let me use his, it works, I've used my other tablet, it works and yet I can't get past the login page on this one. I'm baffled! If it helps, Howard has a Sony Xperia z1,  this one is a Sony Xperia z3 and my other is a Toshiba excite pro. I'll keep trying other things on this one, but many, many thanks for your help

    Delilah xx

  2. I agree. Not sure what's going on, but  could be my tablet, so....I'll try on the laptop, then get NN to try on his pc,  plus I'll  have a crafty look on my work pc (obviously when I'm not being watched)

We will get this sorted xx

  3. Hi folks,

Didn't stand a chance of taking part last night, as I couldn't log in as instructed, user name and no password, and I am wondering whether this is because I'm trying to do this on an android tablet and not a pc or laptop? Have mentioned this to Lord Grendel already as I'm stumped and would love to take part in the quiz.

Can this be sorted, we wonder?

  4. Come on, JF, you are as old as you feel...I can remember before streaming music, mp3s, mini disks (a really good base for music), cassettes, 8 track music, back to vinyl when a single cost 4 shillings and 11 pence (in old money) when a vinyl album cost all of my pocket money for a month! The first album I ever, ever bought was The Kinks,  Well Respected Kinks...I was five, or maybe six years old at the time. Show me a better way of playing music than on a turntable with the amp hiked up?

I think we ought to stop picking on her. By the sounds of it Mr Nog isn't going to be happy about all this "constructive criticism" of Kim :default_biggrin:

You go ahead and do your worst, JF....with you all the way....

By the way I hope Mr Nog isn't sitting around in the local whilst some of us are grafting :default_smiley-angelic002:

Ermmmm, what can I say JF? Mr N is continuing his quality control in our local, as you can see. Listening to his 'other' love too, Kim Wilde....

  7. The best example of Mr N's  "and this is a public footpath.....don't I take you to some fantastic places" was in 2015, when we walked from Salhouse village to The Lodge, a place I had never been before. This was indeed said public footpath.........

  8. So sorry JF, as it seems that "ladies with shoes" have hijacked your thread.....:default_norty:

I have a pair of very non-sexy Gortex ankle boots (made by Clarks..they go well with jeans) that I take on every trip, beit December, February or summer. I also have a pair of thigh length black leather boots that Mr N thinks I look good in. Yes, I agree with Grace that to get from a pub through muddy tracks etc needs something flat so I have done the "take your gorgeous shoes in bag and put them on in the pub" bit. It works too :default_happy: I also agree with Katiew, when you feel as though you are very limited to the things that you can take. Neither of us drive and we have to cart three holdalls on the various trains, buses etc, so I'm limited to one, maybe two, pairs of classy shoes that have to be wedged in between the various chargers, the frying pan, toiletries......

    Hi Grace :default_icon_kiss:
