Yes the viaduc du millau is quite an impressive structure, very interesting how they built it. My old girl has been over it a couple of times. She enjoys going back home.

I will not disagree with any of the above. I used to work in a hospital in the mid 70s when management were starting to take over. This has lead to the current situation of all chiefs and no indians. Was mentioned in one of the chats I had last week that yes there is a pyramid in the NHS, only problem is it is upside down. The NHS probably does not need more money as such just needs it directing to the right areas. And do not get me going on the subject of GPs and their love now of technology. One point that struck me on seeing this on a broads boat was , as mentioned, how much it sticks out below hull. And as pointed out they may be more efficient propulsion wise but are more maintenance intensive due to a complicated gearbox. Plus the seal around the exit hole needs to be 100% and inspected regularly.

My grinder needs hand pressure to operate so as soon as one releases this it slows and stops. My stupid fault to let my other hand wander near it whilst stopping. Lesson learned. The chap who stiched me up said most injuries caused by circular saws and lawnmowers, oh and the lawnmower season is just beginning he said. On that cheery note will say goodnight.

Has anybody hard and fast thoughts about this drive method? Spoken to a couple of people who thought they were one step down from the Devil's spawn. Surely they are not that bad?

Had an arguement with an angle grinder tuesday so off to A&E. Three hours later out with an appointment for the thursday to have the op. Thursday all stitched up and ready to face the world again, well in a sling but nearly ready. What can I say about NNUH except thank you so much for an efficient and friendly interaction. When needed the NHS is brilliant pity this government think otherwise!

Hi Thanks for the replies. First yes Waterside pics only show a portion of the boat nothing from galley backwards. New upholstery maybe pity they could not get any to fit correctly. The fact there was pictured an old oil filled radiator I assumed no heating other than that think borne out as not mentioned anywhere in the specs. Regards engine size I have looked up a few of these and seem a right old variation of makes and sizes. I just thought it looked a bit pricey.
