  1. Still looking for a boat as I have over last couple of years. Pointed this morning in direction of one this morning would like to see others thoughts. Will keep mine to myself for now. https://www.watersidemarinesales.co.uk/boat/alphacraft-34-meg/
  2. Am still searching. Think I might give up for the winter. Not overly impressed by some of the supposed professional people. Namely NBS who after hearing nothing new for months when I contacted them said no contact as we had nothing suitable . And Boatshed Norfolk given up with them no replies to any enquiries.
  3. I wonder why the propane has gone?
  4. And is still up for sale. The price has dropped quite a bit. Think it will have to drop more before anyone bites. https://www.boatshowrooms.com/boats-for-sale/london/classic-bourne-34/
  5. Am still looking. Nothing new appearing. Lots of boats been up for grabs for what seems an eternity.
  6. I did have my eyes set an an ex Herbert Woods Bounty 27 but was just beaten to the post on it, damn. One thing I find annoying with boat brokers sites is the number of boats that still show up but are sold. They even stick the word SOLD over the old ad photos. If it is sold get it off the site and save me wasting time. Enquired about one the other day, sorry was sold 7 years ago, unbelievable.
  7. Personally if I had been doing it would have used wood and painted it. The PVC stuff is asking to get scratched.
  8. Yes Karndean would be ideal for a boat, looks good and made well.
  9. Not that one no. boats seem to be popping up all over the place currently .There is a 37 on NBS, bit of a diy job in places. Though is nice and clean inside and outside. Offer of £42k rejected apparently.
  10. Never even knew you existed until now.
  11. Seems owner is a guy on his own with a dog.
  12. Go on then tell us which boat?
  13. Went to see the Seamaster last week. As you say has cassette toilet, had my fill of them in caravans over the years. Also did not like the bulkhead, made it look rather cramped. Still cannot understand why there is a removable panel in it anyway. Neither one thing nor the other. Saw a Bounty 27 yesterday, ex Woods hire, actually looked not bad at all. Is currently under offer but the guy is taking an eternity to get the money for it. So we will see.
  14. Was going to look at this 43 ft job today except was not in the yard. probably too big for me but never got the chance to have a gander. Would have been interesting to see what made it worth 80k
  15. Saw Colin Sanderson today as all his boats are up for sale. After viewing really his are too big for me. Plus in need of a lot of TLC.
  16. What do we think of a Pedro 30 what with it being a steel boat?
  17. Looks like there are 2 identical boats up for grabs at identical prices and age.
  18. Just seen the video in my opinion looks lovely. A lot in a small boat without looking cramped. Engine compartment looks like the thing has never been fired up.
  19. Had a lovely pork belly in the Nelson's Head in Reedham saturday and a good pint.
  20. Watched a narrowboat video the other evening where the owner said the same. No one has sunk from it yet, first time for everything. Now why am I looking in the mirror?
  21. An update on the wooden Bourne, apart from the loo been told by the broker that it is suffering from osmosis. Been on the market for a year, apparently, now price reduced. £ = osmosis maybe. I know lots of grp boats suffer from it to some extent. Just read the ideal way to fix it penned by a surveyor. Sound a time consuming exercise with obviously the associated expense.
  22. I went looking up your boat on the net and what a difference. Your centre cockpit looks totally different to the aft cockpit. I find odd they call both a 950.
  23. Thank you for the offer. Lowestoft is no problem will message you.
