It’s not that far from Dilham to Wayford Bridge.

An alternative to Coltishall would be Dilham. (I’ve got a thing about limits of navigation). There is a playground a few minutes walk from the mooring.

If you’re going to Coltishall, you should push on to the lock to moor. It’s only a short walk then to Horstead playground. I am planning to take my grandchildren there in June when I’m hiring Jocelyn from Martham.

The engine with all the timing belts etc. for your Transit was made in Dagenham, so very British. If you really wanted a British van you have to buy a Vivaro, Dispatch, Expert or Scudo.

Sorry FTM, you’re a bit out on the dates here. The last Transit left the Southampton plant in 2013. If it was a short or medium wheelbase, it could have been a UK build.
