Hiya Plesbit,
To be honest, I'm trying to get all these items of equipment straight in my mind, as it's all very confusing. The last boat I had was a few centuries ago, and things have moved on so much since then, and I now have to catch up. I'll get there though, lol

I'm now sold on the idea of the Eberspacher heater, but do I go for the Water version, but no room for a radiator, or do I go for the blown air type, and with still no hot water ?
Just one problem after another eh

My BSS was done at Moonfleet Marine, Stalham, by a Mr.Unwin I believe, and very thorough. No complaints at all.

Hiya Antares 9,
Not a problem at all, I've found the answers to be really helpful to be honest, and would love to find the name and number of the Broads gentleman who sells them second hand.
Many thanks all, for the precise answers, really appreciated.

Been considering some form of heating in the boat, for when I do my winter fishing, and have opted for the Eberspacher system, but, and it is a big but, will it really be worth the expence for the sake of a few weekends probably, throughout the winter months, or would it be better to invest in a few more jumpers.

All taken 'on-board' lads, many thanks for your trouble. Some of the wheels are real nice, just need to check 'em out now. Haven't forgot you Jill, many thanks to you as well.

Hiya pks1702, Just had a look and found the one I want,Kb55, but at £185.65, plus £12 for the centre boss, means I might have to start saving my pennies lol

Thanks peeps. There's all sorts of options open to me, it's just that I was wondering if anyone had a favourite shop etc. The wheel can be refurbed without too much trouble, but just fancied an early Christmas present.
Keep the ideas coming peeps lol

Went down to Norfolk Marine in Hoveton yesterday, to buy a new steering wheel. They didn't have what I wanted, and those they did have were too expensive, so went up to Aquafax in the Industrial Area, again, no joy, so, does anyone have any ideas where I could go for a new wheel. The wheel will ideally be of wood, with spokes, and then a rim of wood or stainless around the whole lot. I have a maximum of 22ins to go to.
Now I'm home again, any ideas can include any part of the UK.
Many thanks

Hiya Elisamoose
If you phone the Broads Authority, they'll explain it all to you, and with a bit of luck, you'll find thatyour boats name is a vynil stick-on name, and can be peeled off and a new name stuck in it's place. I got my new vynil name sticker from on Ebay, price £9.99 for two names, one for each side.
Hope this helps.

My boat's name 'Moonlight' was on it when I bought it. I was going to change it, but have decided it suits the boat, so it's going to stay.
