The whites were brown, and the yolks were Mouldy, but there was no smell whatsoever.
if you had disturbed the contents of the egg, stirred or agitated, then the smell would have been ram

I realised just how low my Horizon 35 is compared to most other boats.
your boat is the right height for the broads, it is the others that are too high,

We’ve decided not to bother with any gauges as we can work it out now. How many days on board and just using a torch to peer into see what fuel is left.
i had a safari for a fair number of years and i made a dipstick out of timber with marks every 3 inches, it does give you a good idea of the amount of fuel in the tank, keep the dipstick in the gas locker

It has another den - or used to have!! At Thurne Mouth on the S side ( technically its the Bure I guess!) but several years ago you could not touch bottom with a wherry quant. Thats pretty deep then!!!
chatting to a local eel catcher a few years back, he told me it was one of the deepest spots on the northern rivers

I really must try Meales. At the moment my vote goes to the cafe in the industrial estate in Hoveton near where Bolters is.
what better excuse do you need to use that bike, leave the car at the yard and visit both these locations by cycle,

Just be really careful with bundled or 'affinity' insurance as it is known in the industry
yes, there is a story in our local rag this morning of a young couple on holiday in thailand having a motorcycle accident,
the insurance cover they have only extends to £13,500 and the hospital bills are way beyond that and still mounting

i would imagine there will be signs erected, eg: "STRICTLY NO MOORING" with a plot number along side, then when you book you will be allocated a plot

on a lighter note, in a couple of months time the langley dyke moorings will be anything but peace and quiet,
and the noise will not be from fellow boaters but from the rookery on the other side of the mooring

just a word of warning regarding this mooring, i have also been caught on the protruding fixings on the quay heading so extra fenders may have to be deployed in future
