about 20 years ago i bought a pair direct from brooms in brundall, i went to the office where they sent me round to the stores,
things have changed at brooms in recent years but worth a try
ps; make sure you have a couple of pills and a glass of water ready for when you get the invoice, lol

a little off topic, but while the chat is ventilation here goes,
just after the introduction of the bss on the broads i booked an inspection with a recommended examiner,
he arrived at my boat rather well dressed and carrying a briefcase which he laid on the saloon table, took out a clipboard with a load of paperwork, a tape measure, slide rule and a calculator, he then put on a boilersuit took the slide rule and measured every slot in 7 louvre vents, every gap under each door then every opening window, put all his findings into the calculator and after an hour told me the ventilation on my boat was within guide lines. the full inspection took almost 3 hours
a couple of years later he landed a high ranking job at the broads authority. the mind boggles

there are a fair number of boats on the broads flying the broom flag and showing the shiney broom badge which in fact have never seen the inside of the sheds at brundall

ah well, after all that wind and rain have gone, and its a lovely sunny day, thats when my power goes out, the only thing I found was that though my network keeps running, the tv I use as a screen for my work laptop went off (i really need another way on the UPS to keep the tv live) fortunately the power was only off for 5 minutes, so while the laptop kept powered up, I couldnt see the screen, my other laptop I have running for non work related stuff stayed live.
I do have another UPS I could run the TV off, but its a bit finniky and doesnt always cut in when the power drops. which was why it was swapped out.
all this upto date technology, my mind boggles, you seem to have a complicated life grendel, well to me it is although i am into my 70s

For me It's the best of all worlds low enough for all bridges, reasonably high good view when steering, ok with canopy closed in bad weather but good with canopy open in good weather mine is a AF 38 plenty of comfort for 2 but comfortable when entertaining, also handles well in all conditions.
been there and got the t-shirt fred, but as old age crept up on me i down sized to something shorter and flatter

on this type of boat you would get all you will ever need for half your budget, a season on the river and if it does not suit sell it on and you will not lose money the way the market is at present
