  1. Hi Polly

Right now LBBY are putting their magnificent touches to our new girl. River Song is bootiful

We are looking forward to catching up with everyone out on the rivers again soon.

In the meantime, TC is still for sale, and a great buy for anyone wanting a boat where all the hard stuff has already been done. She's ready to go and looking for a new crew . We will miss her - she is a wonderful boat and looking forward to more exciting trips in the future

  2. Hi Trevor & Dierdre

Our new boat is a Renaissance 35 called "River Song". She is our retirement present to ourselves as we actually retired in July, and with the extended aft platform, she gives me (and Dylan!) much easier access getting on and off as I have ongoing mobility issues.

Will post some pictures before long, but expect to see us out on the system in the coming winter months.

  3. Dear John and Mary Jane,

Just to say - I do not normally post = this is Simon's domain,  but a big  hello and =  what a fab welcome at the visit last weekend at the waveney river centre as a new visitor for me was a great and good welcome.

Thank you all for your kind and generous good feeling -  er'r and sorry about the roast spuds just do not know how they failed to appear,  -- next year will be a bonus - promise you all.

Dylan had a fab time with all the K9"s   and slept like a brick for two day's afterwards.  (Simon did  too!)

now someone let slide that there may be a do!  at Christmas or New year at  Coldham Hall ; is this so ??

if so,  would love to attend  -  please keep us informed would be a great way to end a fab year.

    love to all

    Sonia, simon,  and Dylan too.

thank you all for your great effort to see out a great weekend-  well done!

  4. We use one every winter and let it drain into the galley sink which is about midships on TC. The boat furnishings always feel good and fresh and we have not experienced any mould problem during the 4 years we have owned her. The model we have came from B&Q and it is no longer available there. I seem to recall it has a 10 litre tank, but we always run it straight to the sink. we set it to run twice a days for about two hours a time. Hope this is of some help.

  5. With Jonzo's kind permission, I'm writing to let the members know about our changing boating circumstances.

  7. Hi Brian

It's been an age since we were in touch

Moon Voyager is a really classy boat that I'm sure you will enjoy.

Since we mostly cook on board, we are no authorities on eating out, but would concur about The Bridge at Acle based on recent meals out, [make sure you book though as its a busy time this week.]

Hope we see you on the river. Its been too long

    See you on the river!
