Very pleasant day watching the dragon boat racing, supping the odd ale, walking around the park, chatting with the Admiral (thanks for being the postman, John), talking with fellow boaters from Russia & Holland who were amazed at our lack of regulation & there being no need for qualification to boat on the Broads plus a fly-by by a Spitfire & a Hurricane. Good day before heading for the fleshpots of Oulton Broad, a carvery at the Wherry this evening. If you missed the dragon boats then you missed a good day! Regretfully though, the drums kept the Admiral from having his siesta!
