Hello,

 

I will be on the Broads from the 19th of August for a week. I understand I need to get a 8 day license. I will get a free license for my 14 year old. We are sharing a rod but what would happen if my wife had a go and my name is on the license? Do we need a different license for each different person who MAY fish. Any advice would be great.

Just bought mine this morning and understand that the license is personal (My name  and dob are printed on it ) and if your wife was checked using your license would be liable for a fine.

you are right about your son but you do need a free junior licence

Well said Dave but for sure he will need a separate licence for his wife. The junior concession will not be a licence as such but a printed off reply from EA to be kept with him... I printed off 3 for youngest grandson one on boat one in his tackle box and one for his mum to keep.

Yeh, wife just confirmed she is not too bothered. Its 12 quid for me for 8 days, yeh?

Yep, 12 quid for 8 days. 

Got mine this morning at the Post office, well 2 of them because we are down for 2 weeks.

£30.00 gets you a year but I only fish when on the Broads and April when we come is in the Closed season
