New boatyard planned for Wisbech Port

A slipway large enough for commercial shipping could be built at Wisbech Port, along with a new boat building yard.

Fenland District Council, which is behind the development, says the facility will be the only one of its kind between the River Humber and Lowestoft.

Oi Perry, what's wrong with the fenland drains

What's right with them :o

Looking down them on the way to and fro Fosdyke, Sutton etc look that unappealing it could put a man off boating for life :-D

Unless with your local knowledge you know of any pearls cheers
