I originally advertised it as a mirror but was told via email it was infact an optimist, then something else, then something else. So I've gone for simply calling it a dinghy :-D

Yes, not a Mirror, they have big all-round integral buoyancy tanks, as part of the construction.

 

Yes, not an Oppie either, wrong rig.

 

Plywood stich & glue. no frames, and a nice simple lugsail and daggerboard. 

 

I'd say it's either a kit build, or from plans, like Selway Fisher.

 

The sort of design that used to be very popular in the 60's, though this one looks as though it's only just been built, going by the varnish.

 

As far as can be seen from the photo, nicely finished off too, like the knees  on the forward thwart.
