Missing Tabs

Logged into today and just noticed that in replies or starting a new topic, all the little tabs are missing for the Smiles, fonts, colour and all the other bits, the little light switch has gone so I can't copy and paste or edit, so who ever had them last! can you please return them???? It must be something to do with your browser software Frank.

Thanks Strowager! I can't think what as I havn't made any changes and my laptop has been off for three days, I'll do a clear out and restart and see what happens,,, Frank,,,,

Mmmm! very odd it all just came back on it's own, unless whoever stole them bought them back,,

It's all part of the wonderful fickle  experience of computer software. Something probably loaded badly and then hung up the ability to display some of the communal functions.

 

Operating systems and programs can fail partially, and then "hog" resources until they are rebooted or restarted.

 

Like the old joke says, if Microsoft made cars, the engines would inexplicably cut out every now and then, and then start up again when the key was turned.....

It happens on some of the operating systems and IE from time to time.

There is a work round by clicking the switch far left upper row, click this if the smilies are greyed out or if you can not copy and paste into a message.
