diesel falcon Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 Last time we were out on the boat (dec) we saw a kingfisher at rockland straithe , and the same morning one in the entrance to surlingham broad, not seen one for months and months then 2 turn up on the same morning! VetChugger Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 Actually ran Royal Commander into the trees between Wroxham and Coltishall and got stuck! This was whilst trying to grab my camera! I'm sure the bloody Kingfisher sat there laughing at me. I have to say my crew mates were very much less than impressed and I never got the picture either! SweetKingfisher1 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Share Posted January 13, 2015 I know what you are saying, between Wroxham and Coltishall it is a great place for Kingfishers , but like you we have almost missed that photo . I have made hubby stop the boat turn the boat and what happens just at that moment you are taking that precious photo it flies down river .
