Hylander
Sounds just the ticket for a cold day. one pot meals you cannot beat them. Buy some foil trays in various sizes and then another plus - no washing up.
Bonzo
Yet another yummy corned beef recipe, I will try that tomorrow at home. I will probably add a good shot of freshly ground black pepper too. Corned beef is a much maligned and under rated product. Personally I think it is a very versatile wholesome food. What is more, if it is tinned it keeps perfectly on a boat such as mine without a refrigerator. Dave, have you also thought of using good quality dried mash? This also keeps well without a 'frige and it saves the gas and steaming up inside the boat whilst cooking proper spuds?
