andya
Hi I have a cruiser that is astral light 3 L993 however on the drawers and many more panels within the boat is astral emblem marked on them. I am a little confused to how they became to be named like that, as I am confused again with which area to use, this one , the Aquafibre one , I already have used the Bounty one as they are well known to have a similar drive to mine. Maybe some nice Gent or Lady will take me out of this confused state. Andy
MauriceMynah
Astral Emblem was one of the Ernest Collins fleet. Herbert woods eventually bought it and changed the name from Emblem to Light. I'm sorry but I don't understand the second part of your question.
andya
thanks for that I understood it to be made by Ernest Collins for Woods , that clears that bit, I see now that the way they are listed it makes sense now. On my certificate it says she was built in 1979 would that be right and would it been around the time that Collins joined Powles. as the Powles cruisers seem similar. regards Andy
