Is the berney arms open?

I hoped to go past last week as the Tides were favourable but it was not to be. In any event I would doubt if anything would happen before Easter.

As usual rumours abound and I tend to ignore them if they can't be triangulated.

There is a story that it has been sold but again un-substatiated. There was a rumour Green Jack were involved but again not proven one way or another.

We do know planning permission was refused to turn it into a house and the ACV application by Norwich CAMRA was turned down by the Council as they alleged the pub has no 'community' to serve.

I have asked my colleagues in Norwich CAMRA to let me know if any developments come to their attention in which case I would of course pass them on here.
