@C.Ricko I know roughly where you are, is it down the same dyke as boulters marine, but not sure where down that area you are, I do know the absolute easiest fuel in horning is at the yard next door to the new inn, as its right on the river, any chance you could pin a map to show us where your fuel dock is plese?
Thanks
Sorry for the delay but it seems the answers are here before me!
Thanks everyone ..

we at Horning pleasurecraft are £1.20 for Diesel so not the cheapest in horning but pump access is easy..
we can service virtually anything so depending on what you have will determine the price.

shame Crestella was broken but she was in a state, I have a couple of bunk fronts I salvaged and a chrome toilet pump, knowing now that she was exhibited I am glad the name plate didn't go in the skip.

Evening, lots of interesting chat on here but its all good, the de merge was not a result of Dad not being with us anymore although on one hand he thought it should all stay together he knew that with the amount of Grandchildren involved that there was a issue brewing and something would need to be addressed at some point. With my current lack of interest in the holiday camp coupled with my desire to develop and build boats it made sense for me to try and do my own thing, I handed over the running of the Stalham yard about 4 years ago and was just building the boats for the fleet at Stalham and looking after the Horning yard as well as the industrial units..
With the De merge a reduced New build was going to be kept by the Stalham site but with the Covid situation the decision was made to close it which I felt was a sad thing as I had built the team up over 10 years and learned a shed load from them I didn't want to loose that knowledge base so after a break I took some of them on in July 2020 (before the de merge had happened) and we started building a Hull which I had had designed I was still working on the superstructure..
Its fair to say that I wouldn't have made half the decisions which are being made at Stalham at present but that is the whole point in me not being involved any more so its not my business.

We only fit Victron to our hire boats and the private jobs, I removed Sterling and random stuff from refits before sending them hire...

I was running 3 boats for a coupe of years, we have jumped to 8 this year under Horning Pleasurecraft but its not been simple or straight forward although finding the customers has not been difficult.
Wroxham daybook hire has new owners also Norfolk dayboat hire at Woods Dyke are relatively new from the current base but were operating last year..
Summercraft has a boat or two in operation after a break (I think)

Looking good Clive
Liking the front seat setout... a great differentiator from other similar designs and a nice update on the original Aquafibre 42/38 front seat arrangement
Dan

Are you still planning the wind boat for hire ?
Still working on her but she is almost getting to the stage where I won’t want to send her out.

Good stuff Clive, are these going to be Purley for HPC use or the wider market.
Just for us, I have agreed a sale on the first one and will possibly sell to other builders..

Il have the flat please 😉
I lived there for about 6 months
the aircraft is about 8 ft at the moment as I drove my boat in there with the canopy up the other day but the roller shutter should go up about another 4 feet but the limit switches have been set there for now..

my moorings in Horning are not the most expensive at £71.50 per foot, these will go up a little this October (but not a lot.. )
that basically buts the price of a 45' mooring to £3217.00 so bearing in mind the value of the shed and the cost of maintaining a boat, I don't think its a bad price.
obviously id doesn't suit all boats or owners but it is there and available.

It’s a nice idea. Long term though, if the property is to be sold in years to come we would be in a situation. Plus that £5k is more than twice what we are paying now
Griff
Im not selling it, its the same as any property or boatyard, they do change hands but no plans for that here.
it probably is twice what you are paying but its a different shed and in Horning, just think what you would save in diesel getting here every week from Stalham
