Hi folks,
I thought about changing the heading, but its nearlly a day old, and I believe Jonzo's remarks covered my thinking, also. Having hired many times from that yard, long may it continue to operate boat hire.

just a thought............
Hire craft can't cruise after dark because they are not fitted with navigation lights (I believe that is the only reason, could be wrong though)
So, what if...... I get a portable green light, a red light and a couple of white lights and put them on the roof (hopefully in the right position) ....................
Then the boat will have navigation lights
As I said just a thought...
What's the betting Geoff, that someone would fit the port and starboard lights the wrong way round !

This boats looks as if it came from the Aquafibre Opal. They seem to be built by Brooms, Silverline Marine, and sold through Norfolk Boat Sales (Barnes Brinkcraft). Could they be built from a mould that moves around the boatyads.
More like the Marie Celeste ! No pic ?

There's another word that I have been mispronouncing for my years - apparently.
All these years it should have been VIDJOW
Our linguist secretary Gracie, shall attempt the translation in due course !

I can picture that immortal shot of Marilyn Munro with the wind blowing up her skirt being recreated with Iain in a kilt, just hope that he breaks tradition and wears a pair of knickers, preferably down to his knees though!
Now, now JM we have our standards if you please. Here read all about what I now wear when I can. Hopefully at a bash on the 30th November or the 25th January ! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trews

Now where could that be seen ? Somewhere along Thorpe Road perhaps ?
Surely not Old Wussername and Vaughan in The Buck! Nope, thought not. Like your thinking for the other idea though !

Isn't that nice? The interior looks in very good order. Engine looks original (original BMC) but that doesn't have to be a bad thing!
The hull is an example of why you can't change the colour of a GRP hull, but all the same, a couple of coats of Permoglaze and she'll come up "loik a new'un".
As I said earlier, great to handle and for its size, very roomy ! The clever stern entry does not use a lot of space.

"Trumpery"

Even then the Media (quill pen and vellum) were plotting against him...
To avoid this thread going political.....as IF it would...... you canny Trump what TheQ just said !

Have a mate up here who hails from Ipswich. But, I have stayed at the NovoMotel in Ippy. An old AOL friend took me passed the Marina on the way to Southwold, so I am not that clever.

Great video. I've experienced the 'random strangers' thing to way down the boat and it seems to work. I wonder what the clearance available was that day?
I would think less than 6ft 9" and 15 punters !
