There is a bus route all the way along the north coast from Cromer to Hunstanton.

It is called the Coast Hopper Service. Cromer is easily reached by train from Wroxham as is Sheringham.

Sheringham then has it's heritage steam trains on thr Poppy Line that run to Holt, which is also worth a visit.

The bus is a really good way to enjoy the coast road as you are so high and can sit back and enjoy the view.

Thanks chris , i'll keep that in mind, by the way , how much is it to get into the norwich castle ? Have you any idea please ? Is it worth a visit do you think ? Lori

I think if you are not local then once in a while a houseboat is a good bet.

There is a lot more to Norfolk than the Broads.

Using the car will open up the delights of the North Coast. Cromer and Sheringham have much interest but the wilds of the Seamarsh Coast, Cley and Salthouse reserves, Blakeney, Morston, Wells, Holkheim, Burnham Overy and Brancaster Staithes. Will truly inspire, trust me. You will not be disappointed.

Hi chris , we're not going by car as we don't drive , but there's always trains & buses , so it will be nice to see other parts ,& i may even have a look at norwich castle as ive never been, lori

    Hi Lori,

Long time no hear from you and I hope this finds you well. I don't know if I could go on a houseboat - I think I would be trying to untie it every morning. lol. We had a great week and can't wait for July.

    Take care.

Hi eric, sorry only just replying , hubbies iphone gave up the ghost lol, so i had to set him up with my old note3 ,& he's abit of a technaphobe,i'm fine thanks apart from a sprained ankle, boohoo lol, it's certainly going to be different this year, i might just untie the ropes & hitch a lift from a boat hahaha, we're staying in a nice houseboat though at horning, but i think we'll still be going on some dayboats, so am looking forwards to it,  lori

hi all, we've decided not to hire a boat this year , so we're staying on a houseboat at horning , so was just wondering if the signals got any better down for 3 , &if not  which pub has the best wifi in that area .  lori

  7. what i hate is when you hide something for safekeeping then can't find it because you've hidden it too well lol, i had one of those little magnetic address thingys & i still have'nt found it, & it's been two years since i hid it. lori rofl

  8. for the past couple of days ive been watching york on the webcams , but it's now shut down , it's run by farson watercams, there's quite a few up & down england. but before it shut down i was watching the hotel across from crowthers pub( where the webcam is fixed ) & the water was right upto the first floor of the hotel, i really feel for the people that are flooded out this year, & it sounds like there's more to come tomorrow night, here's a pic i took from webcam. lori

  9. the only i sometimes support is air ambullance , i get really fed up of these people that phone you up trying to get money out of you & being really pushy with it as well, & won't take no for an answer , & what i really find annoying,  is when you put clothes out in them bags for certain charities & then not long after a plain van will turn up & steal the bags , theiving scumbags.  lori

  10. i read that sad news on fbook today too, my heart goes out to the family , it seems strange how she was still at stbennets , especially with the currents , just wondering if she was trapped under someones boat poor thing, RIP lulu xx

  11. we hired the melody 4 last year & it was a nice boat apart from the colour, you need your sunglasses lol, i really like the sedan boats as you can see out of the back better when reversing mooring,& there's plenty of space inside too ,& it's not too high at the back either for getting on & off, unlike one of the bridgecraft boats, it's that high you need stepladders to get off lol , but did'nt like the one we hired this year, which was princess 2, the roof was too low, & it puthered out smoke every morning & all you could smell at night when you put on the warm air heating was diesel fumes coming through, which gave me a bad chest , lori
