If we hadn't joined the common market we would still have 100% red diesel at 0% tax. John
And what do you base that on?

Hi Andy If we were still in the common market Boris would not have been allowed to cut a deal with the carbon dioxide producers and we would now be short on beer and packaged foods that require this gas. John
Do you really believe that? Or is it a wind up?

It really an insight into how the actions of some , can snowball into a panic.
I was in Glasgow today, a seriously populated area of Scotland. People really are just going about their everyday life. The panic buying has just not caught on up here. Yet I watch the national news , there are queues a mile long and people are filling up milk cartons! Just what is wrong with these people, do they have not an ounce of common sense or community spirit?
Some of our supermarket shelf’s are a bit bare though. The country really is spiralling into a mess.
Thankfully we are apparently in good hands, otherwise I’d be a bit worried.

Not quite sure what media outlets you've watched Andy but your wrong I'm afraid. Both bbc and itv have hyped up the issue using some quite evocative images and comments. Totally agree about the social media sheep that just follow the herd. Typical of society today I'm afraid.
The irony being, here you are on social media , talking about 🤩.
My son has just come back from a jaunt around France and Belgium. The shelves in the shops are full, and there is no mention of a fuel shortage. All the harvest has been picked and no reports of produce rotting away.
Food for thought .

Doesn’t seem to be a problem here in my part of Scotland.
I was driving a fair bit today, and must have passed about 6 petrol stations and everything was normal.

Maybe the guy had a point 😂😂😜😅😂😉
nah, seriously though, the demon drink has ruined a lot of people. He probably isn’t a well man and needs help, though that doesn’t excuse him.

If you can keep yourself in the mid channel , you will be fine . If your pace drops to a slow walk , it’s really the wind which could be your enemy. Breydon should be respected, but not feared, with common sense applied.

Did anyone see the boat getting swept under the bridge?
Collapsed like cardboard. Water in that state is devastating.

Any type of weather will have an effect on a boat. Or , change the word boat for any object.
The summer of 76, I broke my collar bone at school sports day, so spent the hottest summer on record, wrapped in a figure of 8 bandage over both shoulders. 🥵

It doesn’t half take you back 🤩
As beautiful as the woodies are , some do look like they have been around for an age even then! It shows how times ave changed , with people now wanting floating apartments .
My memory of the holiday on broads venture is , despite it being somewhat cramped, it was heavenly . I can still smell the mix of diesel and wood. My uncle was an experienced pilot, but he struggled sometimes when the wind blew hard. MY Mum got left ashore when untying as the wind took the boat before she could climb aboard 😀.
We got under Potter that year as well, and apart from on a day boat, I didn’t manage that again for another 30 years 🤣.

Hee hee 😁, look what I found when surfing the net, looking for the same answer I was searching for 5+ years ago. I got a reply from myself 😂😂.
And as a Bruce bonus, I read Broadscots voice, which was always a pleasure . I still have all the pm’s we shared , he was a good man to me, and many others I’m sure .Hope your sleeping well big fella 💚

In my experience , the law favours the tennents side majorly. If you hand your notice in and leave immediately, there is not much he can do. He could technically chase you through the courts, with no guarantee of winning, its hardly worth his (or hers of course) time effort and money.
If the landlord is registered , then he has a responsibility to maintain the property to a living standard, id he is not registered then he doesn't have a leg to stand on. I would just bail out .,

Believe me,being in the trade for nearly 50 years. Its never easy, and now with covid it's even worse. As I've said the business has really suffered along with many others. Those that were layed off or made redundant, went out and got other jobs and many won't return to working 18 hours for little mmone.Think given times things will improve, but will take time.
People want 5 star levels, at 3 star prices. Not only in hospitality though. Eating out is going to get very expensive I imagine.
Just look at alcohol prices in pubs. Probably around 5x what you pay in the shops.

I got a one year in badge. 6 years after I joined🤣🤣

The hospitality trade is renowned for paying poorly. It was heavily populated by Europeans and long term tourists. For a few reasons, these people are no longer available.
The answer is pay a bit more in wages, but of course that is passed onto the customer. It’s only going to go 1 way.

well at 8am I left my wild mooring and headed up to Stalham, unfortunately the staithe was full 2 cruisers and 3 sail boats, this was a good sign that the moorings are in normal usage though, reversed back down to the corner and there was a spot on the free moorings at Richardsons, so I grabbed it, then it was off up to Tescos to get some shopping.
After tescos it was off back downstream then a sharp right and
Just helped a hire boat turn and moor up, its a shame the long straight section is full of canoes, so they had to moor across the corner.
And that my friend was I. Nice to meet you and thanks for the help.

Well , i will be feeding the fish very soon 😁, its a lovely way to spend a few hours, and the fact you can do it while having a beer or two makes it a proper sport 😂.
I will have a bash for pike in the mornings, I never knew it was frowned upon in summer, i dont suppose they enjoy getting caught anytime . I have the tools and the skill to get them back in the water pretty sharpish (when I'm lucky enough to catch them😉).
My daughter once caught a small roach and a perch on the same cast! Just as the tiddler was coming to the surface , the perch latched on. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it.

You really must be feeling Schick to death right now mate
Can’t say I’m surprised 🙄. Scotland have too many bang average players I’m afraid. We didn’t get the breaks, we never seem to , but the better team won 🥲.
Andy Robertson was probably the only Scotland player who would get in that Czech team.

Boats can be a drum echo chamber. Sounds travel easily.
I mean snoring 😜
Plenty boats are equipped for two couples ( and more) . You can do a lot more cruising with 4 pilots. An hour each and you can go from stracey arms to Reedham without it feeling like a slog. Someone keeping the snacks going, someone keeping the glasses full, someone in charge of the tunes or quiz , and someone avoiding the reeds. 😂
what’s not to like 😍

I really don't watch tv on the broads. But Scotland qualifying for a major tournament , is as rare as a space for mooring in Horning, so really must watch it.🤣

As this is 2021 I thought I'd better check what your viewing platform availability is Wonderwall as Internet signal may very well be stronger than tv signal allowing you to stream the footy, especially if you're somewhere where you can hook up to someone else's wifi
As for you Scots, as long as Robbo doesn't get injured and can safely return to Liverpool for some rest and recovery before the real football restarts, you're welcome to lose every game as heavily as you please
At least you can watch a Liverpool player at the Euros , cause you are unlikely to see one play for England.😜

Gov Legislation Of Rebated Fuels

Most people I have encountered regarding brexit, voted for it because of immigration and nothing to do with trade etc.
