Vaughan, sorry but does your car have power steering?
Thrusters are a handy tool not BUT vital, having just driven a car without power steering and UNserveod brakes and no syncro gearbox, I have nothing but admiration for the pioneers of driving.

The only way to complete the todo list, is sell the boat or change it for another one but that way just resets the todo list.
When we sold our boat I thought now I can relax, but someone thought it was time to catch up on jobs at home.
That is an even bigger list!

All councils have embraced cost cutting, sorry re-wilding, our local council have it to perfection, do less charge more. Pay themselves more for embracing nature, and making life better for all.
The latest thing is to charge for everthing taken to the refuge site (dump) unless they can resell it.
Me a cynic, I don't believe it.

When I owned a boat, I would have agreed fully with the title.
Now we hire (rarely).
I would have titled it, insert your own asterisks, beware the rare but entitled arrogant owner.
Last year we were asked to move because an "owner" wanted to moor in the spot we had.
I made great drama of videoing all around then told the prat we used to own, then we got fed up with being collective with his type.

Do what I did on Zimbi, I bought a cheap nasty plastic one and swapped the inards over. It was still working when we sold the boat.

But having just seen an advert on the telly for the RNIB, a worthy cause, but I must ask why it is shown with small sub titles?
No offence intended but surely sub titles are for the hard of hearing not the blind both causes deserve more support anyway.

They will tell you they are not charging for electricity just for connecting to the system!
Many places around the country are doing that, caravan sites etc.
It is a way round the not being able to charge more for the electricity.

Chris I would fill up at Boulters sat, if near, if you pay £1.90 there and the yard charges £2.10. That's 20p profit for you out of the fuel deposit, no problem because they would not supply the requested info.

If you displace more water, then the river levels get higher.

I built one those.
I motorized the paddle wheel and put lots of led lights on.
Then dropped it while moving it to decorate the room it was in.
Doh! now spare bits for future models.

May I recommend a cruise round the UK.
We did it one year. Shetland, Orkneys Tobormory, Dublin, Silly Isles, Guernsey,
We loved it, going to places we wanted to see but not wanting to spend days there.

I think only a mod can change your log in name, but be prepared if there is a big outage all your old post count will be lost.
